We represent an all-star team of coaches, players, and partners seeking to foster excellence in esports.

We do this with a focus on holistic growth and development.

We help the next generation become better players, people, and professionals.

EPA was founded by “the Andrews”–CEO Andrew Cooley and COO Andrew English–who both grew up in the world of esports.

They gained expertise competing at the pro level in games such as Counterstrike and World of Warcraft, and then coaching League of Legends pro teams. During this time, Cooley and English saw the deep need for a more professional, standardized, and holistic player and coach development program that benefitted players in both the virtual and real world.

After taking a step back from professional play, the Andrews entered the business side of esports.

Their combined expertise results in a strong knowledge of competitive play, coaching, player development, and team management. In their first year working as partners at a professional esports organization, they sent 12 players and one coach to pro teams.

Building on that success, Cooley and English branched out and started their own company–Esports Performance Academy–in 2019.

As the world of esports continues to grow and shift, EPA’s mission remains the same:

Esports Performance Academy strives to uphold the highest standards of professionalism in everything that we do. We will hold the community members to those same expectations. We have a set of rules that every player or staff member participating in an EPA activity must abide by.

Treat each member of this community with respect.
- Esports Performance Academy does not tolerate toxicity.
Have a growth mindset.
- We know for some, this does not come easily. But everyone must be committed to making strides.
Be open to discussions with players and coaches of all levels.
Be timely.
Flame or toxic behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.
